This 2003 Ford F-550 was selected by its department for a modernization and emergency equipment upgrade. Rather than replacing the vehicle entirely, the department invested in replacing the tank/pump and related components, as well as an   interior overhaul and emergency lighting upgrade.

Heartland Public Safety Equipment sourced used bucket seats to replace the original bench seat, and also sourced a used Havis console for emergency equipment mounting. Additionally, both new and used Whelen lighting was installed on the vehicle, increasing visibility and safety. This included a Justice lightbar, M4 Series light heads on the front grille, and T-Ion modules on the sides and rear of the apparatus.
